At this point the best way to help out is by testing UmlCanvas. Download it, install it and try it.
You can also visit test.umlcanvas.org, which is a new site we are setting up to allow everyone to test UmlCanvas in their browser and send us feedback. This allows us to improve the support of UmlCanvas on as much browsers as possible.
UmlCanvas, although pretty useable, is still in its early days. Only a subset of UML is supported, so you might extend it with new diagram types or element types.
